11/20 CBS2 Thursday Afternoon Weather Headlines

by Justin Lewis

CBS2 Meteorologist

Good afternoon, everyone.

Winds will continue to fill in this afternoon...frequent gusts of 25-35 mph are expected. And while we're anticipating a high in the low to mid 40s, it will never really feel like that because of the winds... more like the low to mid 30s. If you are, however, lucky enough to catch yourself in a calm and quiet spot, you go ahead and enjoy that mild moment.

It will remain blustery through tonight, so expect evening wind chills in the 20s... overnight wind chills to be in the teens. No big weather concerns though. Just clear, starlit skies.

Colder air will continue to pour in tomorrow. So, despite plentiful sunshine, expect highs to only rebound into the mid to upper 30s; wind chills will range from around 15° at daybreak to only around 30° in the afternoon.

It will remain bright and chilly as we head into Saturday, but by Sunday we're in the mid 50s! Talk about a welcomed warm up!

We'll have more on this weekend and the return of warmer temperatures... dare we say 60s by next week?!

Stay tuned!
