11/20 CBS2 Thursday Evening Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta, CBS 2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good evening Tri-State!

Today felt so much better than the bitter cold we were under the last few days.  This morning started off milder thanks to some cloud cover, but the sun broke out around noon and things have been fairly tranquil and pleasant.  But did you notice the winds?  They are gusting out of the west with a vengeance with gusts up to 30 mph expected tonight as well.

We dip back down on Friday thanks to the same winds associated with a cold front so you might need a heavier coat during the day.  The winds will be stiff again tomorrow so chills returns for another 24 hours.

Saturday starts a big temp swing. As we slowly climb back into the 40s during the day, Saturday night temps stabilize and a slight chance of rain returns.  The temps keep on climbing Sunday, topping off in the upper 50s.

Check back in later for more details on the rain.
