The Giants put forth quite an effort Sunday night against the Cowboys, only to be done in by three second-half Tony Romo touchdown passes  -- the final coming with just over a minute remaining when he found Dez Bryant from 13 yards out -- and a costly interception courtesy of none other than Peyton Manning's younger brother Eli.

The 31-28 loss officially eliminated the Giants from contention in the NFC East, leaving them with a disappointing record of 3-8.  There was a 'silver lining' of sorts if you will, as sensational rookie wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. lived up to his moniker as pass catcher by snagging an insane 43-yard TD catch in the second quarter while using just one hand.

Boomer and Craig opened up this Football Monday edition of the Morning Extravaganza talking about the Giants loss and of course Beckham's catch, before moving on to the story surrounding the Jets, who will be taking on the Bills tonight in Detroit, looking to match the Giants' 3-8 record.

With that said, Craig the Jets fan is looking for Big Blue and Gang Green fans to unite, since both of their teams 'suck.'

In other news, Boomer doesn't recall ever calling for the aforementioned Eli Manning to be benched, while Craig succumbed to the urge to call out New York Post columnist Phil Mushnick  for a grudge the writer has apparently been holding on to since last December.
