Police: Mother Tried To Hire Undercover Agent To Kill Daughter's Ex, 2 Others

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A mother is under arrest Wednesday in connection with a murder-for-hire plot.

Police say 52-year-old Denise Marie Nagrodski tried to hire an undercover detective to kill her daughter's ex-boyfriend and two other people in New Jersey.

She was arrested near the Phillipsburg mall after allegedly giving the detective photos of the intended victims.

Nagrodski claims the ex-boyfriend was abusive to her daughter.
