CBS2 11/29 Saturday Evening Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre Jr, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Brrrr! Today was one of those days where the chill went right to the bone. Temps were stuck in the 30s, with some folks not even finding the freezing mark. Temps will actually rise overnight though due to an approaching warm front. One thing to note: some spots far north/west of NYC could see very spotty, very light freezing drizzle overnight with the advancing warm air overriding the cold surface.

Tomorrow though, we're talkin' 50s! Expect a daytime high of about 53 in the city, 40s elsewhere. It's not too warm, but hey, much better than the wintry chill we've had the past few days! There will be a mix of sun and clouds through the day but it looks to be dry.

Monday looks to be a touch warmer with mid-50s in the city and more in the way of clouds.

Then we're back to reality Tuesday-- despite ample sun early, we'll be back into the 30s for daytime highs. Not just that, but a disturbance swinging on through late at night could bring a mix of rain and snow...more details to come later.

Have a great Saturday night, everybody!
