11/30: CBS2 Sunday Evening Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre Jr, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

What a difference a day makes! Things were much warmer across the area thanks to a warm front that lifted through - we're talkin' 10-20 degrees over Saturday! Clouds stuck around through the day and that will remain the case tonight. There could even be some spotty drizzle late overnight with temps dropping into the upper 40s in NYC.

Evening Update Sundays Highs

Monday starts off the work/school week - as well as a new month - on a rather mild note. Expect mid 50s around the city with more cloudiness, even a few stray showers during the mid-day/early afternoon time frames. Nothing major, just keep the umbrella handy. These showers will precede a cold front that will knock us back to a wintry chill for Tuesday...temps only hit the mid/upper 30s around the city, perhaps struggling to reach freezing well north and west.

Evening Update Surface

Late Tuesday PM through early Wednesday AM, a frontal system approaches from the southwest bringing some more showers...and maybe even a bit of wet snow overnight. Not looking for any big numbers, maybe a coating at best.  We warm up to the low 50s Wednesday afternoon.

Thursday, we're going back to the 40s with sunny skies and cool breezes.
