Boomer & Carton: Jackson Speaks, Robertson Bolts And A Visit From Royalty

Knicks president Phil Jackson had some interesting things to say about the team he is paid to run when he 'broke his silence' Monday, David Robertson shuns the Yankees in favor of a four-year deal with White Sox and Brooklyn got a visit from Royalty -- not Boomer and Craig, they are 'National Treasures.'

So the aforementioned Dynamic Radio Duo got things in motion Tuesday morning by discussing the smorgasbord of topics before them.

Craig is not thrilled with what Jackson had to say with regards to his beloved Knickerbockers, while Boomer is just happy he said anything at all.

As for the Yankees, they saved some money by severing ties with Robertson and should be able to absorb the loss.  Craig declares that all-in-all the Yanks have had a good offseason.

Finally, the Nets hosted the Cavs last night in Brooklyn and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge showed up (eventually)...
