Staten Island Nonprofit Provides Holiday Help For Those Still Struggling After Sandy
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - More than two years after Superstorm Sandy, there are still families struggling financially to give their children the kind of Christmas they want.
That's why a Staten Island nonprofit will be opening a special toy store for families still suffering the financial effects where everything is free.

"A lot of people went through their savings. A lot of people went through trying to do the right thing and it took a big toll on their finances," Where to Turn Executive Director Dennis McKeon told WCBS 880's Peter Haskell.
The store will be open the next two Saturdays, Dec. 13 and Dec. 20 from noon to 6 p.m. The store is localed at 168 New Dorp Lane.
"They are just so grateful that somebody is looking out for them,' McKeon said.
The group has already given away 15,000 toys during the past two holidays.
