12/16 CBS2 Afternoon Weather Headlines

Rain will press into our western suburbs this afternoon... arriving by mid to late afternoon in the city. Temperatures will warm into the upper 40s to near 50° by day's end.

Rain will continue this evening into the early overnight hours...ending north and east before sunrise.

We're looking better tomorrow and enjoying our last mild one... getting into the low 50s! We can't rule out a shower NW/NE of the area in the afternoon, but overall, it's looking like a drier period.

Cooler and blustery as you head into Thursday with highs only around 40° by Friday.
