12/30 CBS2 Tuesday Morning Weather Headlines

Good morning everyone!

Winter is here and we're feelin' it this morning. Temps are in the teens up to the north and 20s close to the water. Its definitely a "layers" day if your going to be outdoors.

Highs will top off below normal in the upper 30s.

Sunshine will be dominating the picture today, tomorrow, Thursday and Friday -- a well deserved quiet week.

Saturday brings the potential for a rain/snow mix. Right now, it's all rain, but we have to watch and see how it develops. The system has yet to form.

I will say that during quiet, bright winter days, some of our most beautiful atmospheric photos can be taken. A low sun angle allows for amazing sunsets and rises. If your outside near dusk or dawn, grab the camera!
