1/30 CBS2 Friday Afternoon Weather Headlines
By Justin Lewis, CBS Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Skies brighten and winds fill in this afternoon. Temperatures will actually fall off a bit as our arctic front pushes through, so don't expect a big warm up.
Winds will gust to 40 mph tonight; wind chills will get down to about -10° by daybreak. Bundle up!
Tomorrow will be brutally cold with winds gusting to about 30 mph and wind chills ranging from about -10° to 10°. The good news is skies will be pretty throughout the day. High in the low 20s.
Sunday starts quiet, but the clouds will thicken through the day... could even see a few snowflakes by day's end (best chance will be west). We'll continue to keep an eye on this system over the weekend as it's looking more likely that we'll have a snow event on our hands Sunday night into Monday. How much? Too soon to tell.
Have a great weekend, and check back for more!
