Police Seek 2 Suspects In Armed Robbery At Bronx Apartment

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are asking for the public's help in finding two men wanted for a robbery last fall in the Bronx.

According to police, the victim was inside his apartment in the Bedford Park section of the Bronx at around 10:20 p.m. on Nov. 23 when he answered the door for someone he knew after hearing a knock.

But when the 38-year-old victim opened the door, two men forced their way into the apartment, displaying guns.

Once inside, one of the suspects hit the victim in the head with the firearm and forcibly removed $700 and two cell phones. The men then fled the scene.

Police released a surveillance image of the two suspects.

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s, about 6 feet tall with a large build and a thin beard. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black vest.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s, about 5'10" with a thin build and some facial hair. He was also wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, police said.
