LI Woman Says Long Running Dispute Spilled Over Into Terrifying Road Rage Incident

SYOSSET, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A Long Island woman was involved in a terrifying road rage incident that allegedly stemmed from an old feud.

Police say another driver intentionally plowed into her car on Sunday night, leaving her seriously hurt.

Now, as CBS2's Carolyn Gusoff reported, the woman is calling for justice.

With broken ribs, Regina Khezri made it to court intent on justice.

"I feel (an) assault (charge) isn't justice enough. He tried to kill me with my car," she said.

Khezri, 22, was driving on the Long Island Eexpressway service road, on the phone with 911, afraid of a former friend that she argued with at a Syosset gas station.

The dispatcher told her to pull over off of Robbins Lane and put her hazards on. A car pulled up alongside her.

"I thought he was a cop so I started telling him the situation and when he got out of the car he had a knife in his hand," she said.

It wasn't a cop. Prosecutors say the man with a knife in his hand was Ari Ducker, 27. He has allegedly been summoned by his girlfriend, the woman at the gas station, to track down Kezri. When he found her, police say he rammed her car.

"He hit the back of my car full force. My head went into the steering wheel," she said.

The horror didn't end there.

"I got out of my car to see the damage and he tried hitting me while I'm out of my car," Khezri continued.

Drucker lives in a gated Syosset community and works for his father's insurance company. His attorney declined comment.

He has been charged with assault, menacing, and criminal mischief. Police recovered a knife at the scene.

Khezri says the gas station argument was the result of a petty, ongoing feud with a former high school friend. Now, it's a serious criminal case against the man police say got in the middle.

The other woman involved in the argument at the gas station has not responded.
