AC&C Weekly Pet Post -- Meet Harmony, Pitman & Brenda

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — CBSNewYork.com and 1010 WINS are teaming up with Animal Care & Control of New York City to let you know about some of the adoptable animals looking for loving homes in the city's shelters, and where AC&C's mobile adoption unit is headed with even more great pets.

This week, we're featuring Harmony, Pitman and Brenda.

Harmony (A1027897- photo above) "This quiet beauty has a coat like the softest blanket, and at a perfect 11 pounds, she's just made to warm laps and cozy up to her people on the sofa," notes an AC&C volunteer. "Friendly, super well behaved, and with the most gentle pipsqueak of a meow, Harmony is one of those cats who doesn't seem to need a lot of playtime and is happy just being near (or on top of!) the humans who love her." Meet Harmony, who's about two years old, at AC&C's Manhattan Care Center, at 326 E. 110th Street.

Pitman (A1027389) Pitman is a snuggler, an affectionate, approximately four-year-old pup who would do well even with first-time dog guardians. "His sweet little frowny face, his soft and quiet demeanor, his cuddly 'all about love' personality made me fall in love with him," an AC&C volunteer notes. Fall in love with Pitman yourself at AC&C's Manhattan Care Center, 326 E. 110th Street!
