Police: Suspects Attacked, Robbed 2 Women In Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Thursday were searching for a pair of suspects who allegedly robbed two women in separate incidents in Queens last week.

The first incident happened around 2:12 p.m. The suspects were traveling in a white sedan when they saw a 27-year-old woman walking near 195th Street and 110th Avenue in St. Albans, Queens, police said.

One of the suspects jumped out of the vehicle, pushed the woman to the ground, and took her pocketbook before fleeing, police said.

In the second incident at an unspecified time on Saturday, the suspects were back in the white sedan, when they saw a 56-year-old woman cleaning snow from the top of her car near 64th Avenue and 228th Street in Oakland Gardens, Queens, police said.

The same suspect who committed the first attack pushed the woman to the ground and again took her pocketbook before fleeing, police said.

Police released a surveillance image of the suspect who they believe committed the attacks, and the vehicle involved.
