4/9 CBS2 Thursday Evening Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta
CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Today's a chilly & grey one.  Not much has changed in 48 hours but temps have definitely lowered in the last 24 hours.  At 2 p.m. today we were 39° with a wind chill of 31°!  That's a return to winter.

But in all honesty this is pretty typical for spring.  Again in typical spring fashion, we will spike temps tomorrow into the mid 60s.

A strong low pressure system bringing severe weather to Midwest will eye the tri-state.  Severe weather is most likely just south of the metro NYC area.  We will see how the day plays out.
