Police: Man Puts 79-Year-Old Woman Into Headlock During Bronx Robbery

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a man who they said put a 79-year-old woman into a headlock during a robbery in the Bronx earlier this week.

The suspect forced his way into an apartment on East 163rd Street after knocking on the door around 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, according to the NYPD.

He forced a 43-year-old woman onto the floor and then put a 79-year-old woman in a headlock, police said.

He then took jewelry from both victims before fleeing, police said.

The suspect is described by police as a black man, approximately 5'11" tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds, with black hair.
