NYPD: Woman Struck In Head With Bottle At Lower Manhattan Subway Station
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A woman was struck in the head with a bottle at a subway station in Lower Manhattan Saturday.
According to authorities, the victim witnessed the female suspect cursing at a little girl Saturday morning. The woman then turned her attention to the victim and began yelling at her, police said.
As the train stopped at the Nassau Street station, police said the suspect assaulted the woman.
The victim suffered swelling and pain, but was not hospitalized.
The suspect remained on the loose Sunday night.
