4/16 CBS2 Thursday Evening Weather Headlines

Good evening all,

Another beautiful spring day is upon us. We will have highs topping off in the low 60s. The sun is ample and warm.

Some showers are slowly making their way into the area. After 3 a.m., some showers could plague us through about noon. The afternoon is partly cloudy and increased clearing.

Saturday is looking brilliant. Warm westerly flow brings mild air our way. Some could be close to 80 degrees inland.

Sunday is a much different story. Cooler wind off the water drops us down to normal (low 60s). But we have plenty of sunshine.

Monday, rain returns to the area and how -- a soaking rain. One to two inches is possible and we need it. We're about 1.75 inches below normal.

We get right back on track Tuesday with upper 60s and sun.
