NYPD: Purse Stolen From 92-Year-Old Shopper At UWS Fairway Market
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man and woman robbed a 92-year-old shopper at a Fairway supermarket on the Upper West Side, police said.
The incident occurred last Wednesday afternoon at the Fairway located at Broadway between 74th and 75th streets.
The suspects swiped the victim's purse from her shopping cart and fled, police said.
The bag contained credit cards, eye glasses, $450, a hearing aid and other miscellaneous items, police said.
Police have released surveillance images of the suspects, who are believed to be in their 20s.
