Credit Card Theft Leads To Large Operation In The Bronx, Arrest Of Couple
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A report of credit card theft in Stamford, Conn. uncovered a huge fake credit card operation in the Bronx and has led to the arrest of two people.
Police discovered the sophisticated operation at the Bronx home of Ferne and Phillip Deans on May 13, WCBS 880 Connecticut Bureau Chief Fran Schneidau reported.
"We believe they've been doing this for several years," Stamford Police Lieutenant Diedrich Hohn said. "They probably have tons of victims under their belt that we don't even know about."

The equipment seized by police included a Datalink credit card embossing machine which is used by banks to create debit/credit cards for their clients, an MSR card reader/writer, and a laptop with links to a website known for selling stolen card information.
The NYPD has charged the duo with multiple counts of felony forgery, criminal possession of a forgery device, and criminal possession of a forged instrument.
The suspects await extradition to Stamford to be formally arrested on their warrants in Connecticut.
