5/20 CBS2 Thursday Morning Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta,
CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good morning all,

A frost advisory is in effect for portions of our area this morning until 9 a.m. These areas in the Hudson Valley will some 30s. Clouds are on they way in now and will blanket the area ahead of weak low pressure to our south.

However, a high-pressure system is nosing its way into our area making for a sunnier day north of NYC. It's going to be a very interesting weather day.

Those north (normally colder) will be warmer because of sunshine, whereas some one living Belmar, New Jersey, could see moderate rain and temps stuck in the 50s. NYC will be in the middle with 60s and a few periods of showers.
