Man Groped Woman On Subway In Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, Police Say

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police were on the hunt Thursday evening for a man who allegedly groped a woman on the subway in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn.

Around 7:35 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, the suspect grabbed and struck the 26-year-old woman's buttocks as she walked down the stairs from the Brighton Beach elevated Q Train station, police said.

The suspect then got on an inbound Q train and left, police said.

He was described as a white male between the ages of 22 and 29, with a medium build, and standing about 5 feet 11 inches tall, police said.

He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black hooded jacket, blue jeans, and black sneakers.
