6/5 CBS2 Friday Morning Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta,
CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good morning all,

Clouds will stick around today but temps will go up a bit. We should hit the mid-70s by day's end due to southerly flow and increased humidity. If we could pop some breaks in the clouds, temps could really spike into the 80s.

Rain is possible at really any point today, but a greater chance resides in the morning hours. High pressure will push clouds and showers out by Saturday with more sun by afternoon.

Things are looking good by the time The Belmont Stakes are ready to run. Should also be a dry track. Sunday, more of the same, but temps are a touch cooler in the mid 70s.

Summery weather returns next week with some storms possible, but temps look to be in the mid-80s.

Check back in soon for the latest.
