Police Release Sketch Of Suspect In 2 Attempted Rapes In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are on the hunt for a suspect they believe tried to rape two women on separate occasions.

Authorities said in each incident, the man followed the female victim while walking down the street in the Bronx, grabbed her and pushed her against a wall before trying to remove her clothing and then fleeing the scene.

The first incident happened around 12:20 a.m. on May 6 near Marion Avenue and East 179th Street in Fordham Manor. The second incident happened on May 21 around 9:45 p.m. near East Tremont Avenue and Prospect Avenue in Tremont.

Police described the suspect as a black male in his twenties with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt with a blue baseball cap turned backward.
