Bronx Mom Goes Missing After Taking Dog For Walk
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Family and friends are praying for the safe return of a 42-year-old Bronx mother who vanished while walking her dog Sunday.
Diana Perez went out to walk her dog, Snow White, near her home on White Plains Road around 8 a.m. Sunday and hasn't been seen since, her family said.
The dog was found three miles away, but Perez remains missing.

Her brother, Michael Rivera, insists his sister would never intentionally abandon her family.
"This has never happened before, she would never leave or disappear," Rivera said."She would never do that to her family and friends."
He fears something bad has happened to her.
"She wouldn't abandon her son, and she would not abandon that dog," Rivera said. "She loves the dog almost as much as she loves her son and for us to find the dog miles away from home, injured, limping and is still depressed, she would not do something like that."
Perez's 14-year-old son is graduating eighth grade Thursday -- an occasion Rivera said his sister wouldn't miss for the world.
"He really wanted his mother to be there and his mom was so excited, she would not miss it for the world, then suddenly Sunday she's just gone," Rivera said.
Missing person flyers have been posted all over Parkchester and Perez's family will hold a candle light vigil at 5 p.m. Friday.
Perez is 5'8" tall and weighs 110 pounds, with brown eyes and red hair. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white tank top.
