After discussing some of the happenings from Thursday's softball game -- including some good defense and an early exit courtesy of Al Dukes -- Jerry Recco got to updating. He got started with the excitement surrounding Alex Rodriguez, after the Yankees' slugger got two hits last night in the Bombers' 9-4 win over the Marlins in the Bronx.
Plus, the Mets got shut down by R.A. Dickey and the Blue Jays up in Toronto to the tune of a 7-1 final. The Amazins' continue to struggle on the road -- they are 10-21 away from Citi Field this season. Jerry provided a U.S. Open update, as Tiger Woods cards a first-round 80.
Jerry, himself, was forced to defend his softball performance, Boomer almost hit "the" Eddie Scozzare's blind dog with a foul ball and some news from Giants minicamp. Craig is taking his father to a Yankees game for Father's Day -- well, he is actually going to just meet his old man there.
