6/24 CBS2 Wednesday Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Justin Lewis
CBS2 Meteorologist
It stays sunny the remainder of the afternoon with temperatures spiking right around 84°. And with a drier wind in place, it won't feel as humid as it was yesterday.

It will stay mainly clear tonight as high pressure continues to drift in our direction from the west. It will be mild and comfortable with lows in the mid to upper 60s.

Tomorrow we'll see a bright morning with increasing clouds in the afternoon. There's a slight chance of a shower/storm inland during the afternoon hours, but much of it holds off until Thursday night. The rain will make its exit early Friday and we'll see partial clearing through the afternoon.

Our next system will push in from the south and west on Saturday... could be unsettled for at least part of the weekend.
