6/26 CBS2 Friday Evening Weather Headlines

Good Evening!

It turned out to be a pretty nice day out there today. A few isolated showers still around, but a mix of sun and clouds for most. Looks like a quiet night ahead, with some clouds and a low around 65 in the city.

Increasing clouds tomorrow morning, with rain arriving west to east during the late afternoon and early evening. It'll be cool and breezy tomorrow with highs struggling to get much above 70. If you're headed out Saturday night, you'll need the umbrella! The rain continues during the overnight and into Sunday morning, heavy at times. Not expecting much in the way of flooding, likely just in poor drainage areas. We'll pick up between 1-2" from this system, definitely helping out our relatively dry conditions!

The latest trends look like Sunday will be pretty dry, especially during the afternoon. Any lingering showers should move out and we'll see some sunshine. Warmer Sunday, with a high around 78.

And just in time to head back to work Monday (of course, right?), mostly sunny skies with a seasonable high of 82.
