7/8 CBS2 Wednesday Evening Weather Headlines

By Victoria Cavaliere

Good Evening All,

Today was another sticky summer scorcher. We hit a high of 88° in Central Park and with humidity averaging out at about 68 percent, it felt like the 90s around the area. This evening, the chance for a pop up shower or thunderstorm remains, as do the clouds with a low of 71°.

Tomorrow during the day is trending drier and cooler with clouds capping our temperatures in the upper 70s/low 80s but that doesn't mean you shouldn't pack your umbrella!

Tomorrow evening beginning around rush hour expect some rain and thunderstorms, potentially severe at times, to sweep through our area.

Friday the chance for a few drops still lingers but with the cold front gone, it should start to clear by midday leaving us with partly sunny skies and a high of 85°.

And the weekend looks like it's going to be sunny and warm with highs in the mid to upper 80s both Saturday and Sunday.

That's all I have for now, be sure to check back soon for more weather updates.
