7/12 CBS2 Sunday Morning Weather

Good Sunday morning! The beautiful summer weather will really get into high gear today...lots of hazy sunshine and a bit more humidity late in the day. Highs in NYC and interior NJ will hit or just exceed 90 (expect 91 in NYC), and about 10-15 degrees cooler at the beaches. While the rip current risk is low, make sure you bring sunscreen as the UV index will be a 9 - burn time of 15 minutes! Water temps are creepin' up into the low 70s for most spots.

As for Monday, it looks like it will be another very warm day. While temps will be down a few, the humidity will be much higher! Slight chance for a few night storms, but most of Monday looks good...just muggy. Tuesday looks like a better bet for some storms. Very humid and warm with highs in the upper 80s.
