Suffolk County Police Officers Help Deliver Baby In Medford
MEDFORD, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Suffolk County police officers helped deliver a baby girl in Medford Sunday morning.
Officers James Caporale and Paul Rocchio responded to a 911 call at approximately 7:15 a.m. at a home on Southaven Avenue in Medford.
When the officers arrived, they found a 37-year-old woman in active labor. The officers assisted the mother in delivering a healthy baby girl.
Both mother and daughter were transported via Medford Volunteer Ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital.
