JERSEY CITY, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Two people were forced to jump out of a window to safety after an apartment caught fire in Jersey City.

Cell phone video taken at the scene shows smoke coming out of a second-floor apartment as firefighters tried to bring the fire under control.
