Jerry's Update Pleases Fans Of The Locals

If you are a fan of either the Yankees or the Mets, then you are going to be pretty happy while listening to Jerry Recco flex his golden pipes. The update maven chronicled wins by both teams, while wearing a CBS -- not an ESPN -- shirt.

First it was the story from the Yankees' 13-3 win over the Red Sox Tuesday night in the Bronx, which featured a nine-run seventh inning.  Tonight the Bombers turn to rookie hurler Luis Severino, who will be making his big league debut. That has Craig, the Mets fan, very excited.

Speaking of the Mets, Terry Collins' club won its fifth in a row by taking care of the Marlins 5-1 down in Miami.  Eric Campbell remained humble after delivering the go-ahead knock in the eighth, saying it just felt good to find a hole.

Plus, more news and notes from the world of baseball and the latest surrounding Tom Brady and the ongoing "Deflategate" saga. Apparently the Pats' quarterback likes to hold his balls lightly.
