8/9 CBS2 Sunday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Good Afternoon!

Another winner today as we see a mixture of sun and clouds and a seasonable high of 84 in the city. Just a slight chance of a passing shower far north and west of the city, but nothing to cancel outdoor plans over.

Partly cloudy overnight with a low around 70 in Central Park, and 60s elsewhere. To start out the work week, the humidity bumps up a little bit with temps in the upper 70s and low 80s. We'll watch an approaching system bring a chance of showers and storms late tomorrow, and especially Tuesday. In fact, early Tuesday could have some periods of heavy rain as storms move through.

While we could use the rain, most will be happy that we clear out for Wednesday with the return of sunshine. In fact, it's lookin' good for the rest of the week! Temps will hover in the low to mid 80s each day.
