8/11 CBS2 Tuesday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Scattered showers and storms will push through this afternoon. A few of them could be strong with heavy rain and gusty winds. Otherwise, expect mostly cloudy skies and humid conditions. Temps will warm to around 80° later today.

Some leftover showers and storms will swing through the first half of the evening. After that, we're expecting things to quiet down a bit. Temps will fall to around 70° by daybreak.

We'll get off to a mostly sunny start tomorrow... becoming partly cloudy to partly sunny into the afternoon. We can't rule out a shower (mainly to the north and west), but for the most part, it should stay quiet. Temps will warm into the low to mid 80s.

Thursday looks to be the sunniest of the next few... not too humid, either. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s.

As of now, Friday's looking good with slightly warmer highs in the upper 80s.
