8/11 CBS2 Tuesday Morning Weather Headlines

Good morning all,

If you're not experiencing some heavy rain, you will be shortly. The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for many of our counties in New Jersey, New York, and even Connecticut.

Training showers will be likely as rain redevelops over the ocean and continues to do so through about midday. The AM commute will be the worst, but expect showers to linger all day.

If we are lucky, we can see some clearing by the afternoon. But do not be fooled -- any isolated storm could have flooding potential.
