8/22 CBS2 Saturday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Good Afternoon!

Today will be the better half of the weekend with mostly sunny skies, low humidity, and temps topping out in the mid 80s. Can't rule out a stray shower on the far east end of Long Island, but don't cancel any outdoor plans as it's just a slight passing chance.

Clouds increase overnight and some showers return to the picture tomorrow. The best bet is east, while there's a better chance of staying dry to the west. Highs will once again reach the low to mid 80s.

Some wet weather may linger into Monday and it'll be feeling quite muggy out there. But the week improves as we head toward midweek! By Wednesday we're back to mostly sunny skies and low humidity.
