Current, Former Teachers File Discrimination Lawsuit Against Riverhead Charter School
RIVERHEAD, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A multi-million dollar lawsuit has been filed against the Riverhead Charter School and its principal.
The $10 million lawsuit claims 11 former and two current teachers at the school were discriminated against because of how old they are and how they looked, WCBS 880's Sophia Hall reported.

Attorney Joseph Dell said the principal wanted teachers to wear seductive clothing and if they did not "They were harassed."
"We have tweets from the principal stating that. If you were wearing a skirt below your knees you're dressing like a nun," he said.
Dell said the principal, who is black, then fired some of the teachers who are white.
"You have a diverse group of teachers. They all have the same story," he said.
An attorney for the school told Newsday "The complaint reads like a good fiction novel, and is not based on the law or facts."
