Six Firefighters Hurt While Battling Bronx Fire

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Six firefighters suffered minor injuries while battling a four-alarm house fire in the Bronx, CBS2 reported.

The blaze broke out around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday on East 232nd Street in the Edenwald section.

Video from the scene showed flames and thick grey smoke pouring from the roof of a building.

It took 140 firefighters to bring the fire under control, CBS2 reported.

No civilians were injured.
