8/30 CBS2 Sunday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Good afternoon!

We're heating up today around the region with temps climbing into the upper 80s, and even some spots hitting the 90 mark. It'll be a little more humid than yesterday under a mix of sun and clouds. There's a slight chance of some showers/storms north and west of the city as we head into this afternoon and evening, but they'll be isolated.

More clouds around tonight, and it stays mild with a low of 73 in the city and 60s for the 'burbs. Tomorrow looks even hotter for the last day of August. Highs in the low 90s with plenty of humidity. In fact, this trend will continue right into the start of September with the chance for our second heat wave of the season!
