Police: Man Intentionally Struck Victim In Bronx Hit-And-Run

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Police are searching for a man after a hit-and-run incident in the Bronx Saturday afternoon.

Josue Gago was behind the wheel of a black Ford Taurus with Pennsylvania plates when it struck a 26-year-old man who was crossing Union Avenue at East 155th Street, according to police.

The victim was rushed to Lincoln Hospital in critical condition.

Gago, 25, was involved in a dispute with the victim earlier Saturday and intentionally ran him down, police said.

Gago is 5'7" tall and weighs about 145 pounds.

Both Gago and the victim have a relationship with the same woman, sources told CBS2. Gago is the woman's ex-boyfriend, the victim is her new boyfriend, sources said.
