Videos: The Pope In New York City Day 2

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Pope Francis was making his way through the city on Friday, bringing throngs of onlookers, many road closures, and mass transit disruptions in Manhattan.

The Pope arrived at JFK just after 5 p.m. on Thursday, and spent the evening leading prayers spoken in Spanish and English at St. Patrick's Cathedral.

On Friday, the Pope addressed the UN General Assembly, took part in a multireligious service at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, and visited Our Lady Queen of Angels School in East Harlem.

The Holy Father wrapped things up with a Mass at Madison Square Garden.
