Man Found Shot To Death In New Cassel, Long Island
NEW CASSEL, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police late Monday were investigating a shooting that left a man dead in New Cassel, Long Island.
Nassau County Third Precinct officers were called at 6:16 p.m. to 994 Prospect Ave. in New Cassel. They found a 31-year-old man who had suffered multiple gunshots, police said.
The man was taken to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, where he was pronounced dead at 6:42 p.m., police said.
Detectives asked anyone who might have witnessed the crime to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at (800) 244-TIPS.
