10/9 CBS2 Friday Evening Weather Headlines

Good evening,

Rain fell is a good clip today for some, while others only saw a passing shower. The rain got kind of intense for a few hours there. I went outside for a walk and saw a few lightning strikes through the downpours.

The good thing is we DO need it, so any showers helped our deep deficit.

Skies are clearing overnight and by sunrise we will all be high and dry. It will be a chilly start tomorrow tough, with low to mid 50s around NYC, with 40s and even some upper 30s (in the coldest spots). Sun will be the rule for the rest of the weekend.

Do expect a light breeze to begin tomorrow, but it will subside as the day goes on. check back in soon everyone!
