1/29 CBS2 Friday Evening Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre
CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good evening all! Make sure you're bundled up if you have Friday night plans - cold air will rush in behind a front and winds will make it feel even colder! Everyone's below freezing tonight, with temps in the teens and 20s. Also there will be some slick spots overnight due to refreezing of any precip we had earlier.

Tomorrow's looking like a pretty decent day...maybe more clouds than you'd like to see, but it will remain dry. Expect a high right around 39 in NYC which is right where we should be. Sunday's looking like a warmer day with a partly sunny sky. Temps reach the upper 40s.

Heading into the week ahead, we're starting off February with temps right around 50 Monday & Tuesday! Regardless of what the Groundhog sees Tuesday, it looks like Wednesday could be even warmer with many folks flirting with 60 degrees. Stay tuned for the very latest!
