Police: Suspect Punches 64-Year-Old Man In Face At McDonald's On Lower East Side

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork)-- A 64-year-old man was attacked in at McDonald's on the Lower East Side following a verbal dispute. Authorities are now looking for the individual responsible.

The suspect got into a verbal dispute with the victim on November 28, 2015 around 1 a.m. inside the restaurant located at 114 Delancy Street, according to police. The individual began punching the 64-year-old man in the face, threw him to the floor, and stomped on him.

EMS arrived and brought the victim to an area hospital where he was treated for injuries to the face and bleeding in the brain. The victim is in stable condition.

The individual is described as a black male with braids.

In January, a McDonald's employee was stabbed to death in the Bronx after a reported dispute with a homeless man.
