Police Search For Suspect In Sexual Assault Of Boy, 15, In South Bronx Park

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Wednesday were searching for a suspect who sexually assaulted a 15-year-old boy in Concrete Plant Park in the Bronx.

Around 7:45 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, the man sexually assaulted the boy in the park, along the Bronx River at Whitlock Avenue and Bruckner Boulevard in the South Bronx, police said.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male between the ages of 45 and 50, standing 5 feet 6 to 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 140 to 160 pounds, police said.

He had a goatee and was last seen wearing a black wool cap, a red sweater, red pants and tan work boots.

Police have released a surveillance photo.
