Domestic Dispute Leads To Screwdriver Stabbing Near Lincoln Center
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police said a domestic dispute ended with a man being stabbed with a screwdriver Thursday morning near Lincoln Center.
It happened around 5:40 a.m. on Columbus Avenue near 64th Street.
Police said is began as a quarrel between two men. One of the men stabbed the other in the head several times with a screwdriver, CBS2 reported.
Police said the attacker was the victim's boyfriend.
The suspect – Martez Stringer, 30, of the Bronx – was arrested at the scene, police said. He was charged with felony assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
The victim's condition was described as stable.
