Small Fire Breaks Out In Stockroom At Bloomingdales Flagship Store
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A small fire broke out Sunday evening in a stock room at the Bloomingdales flagship store in Midtown East.
Shortly before 7 p.m., the fire was reported in a stockroom on the sixth floor of Bloomingdales, at 1000 Third Ave. at 59th Street.
The area was evacuated as firefighters extinguished the blaze.
The fire was quickly brought under control, and there were no reports of injuries, the FDNY told CBS2.
The sixth floor at Bloomingdales includes displays for tabletop, housewares, kitchen items, and luggage.
